How it works

Three steps. That's the whole thing.

  1. Pick the canvas — Switch between 9:16 for Reels, TikTok and Shorts and 16:9 for YouTube and the web. The preview shows the final framing.
  2. Choose the range — Export the whole track, or turn on Export only a part and drag the handles on the Audio lane. Audio can fade at the cuts.
  3. Export and download — Press Export. Watch the queue, preview the result in the app, and download the MP4.
In detail

What you get

Two sizes

1080×1920 for vertical and 1920×1080 for widescreen, each rendered from the same project.

Everything burned in

Captions, karaoke highlighting, the visualizer and every cover on the timeline are rendered into the video, in the positions the preview shows.

Export only a part

Set a start and end on the Audio lane to export a chorus or a highlight, with an optional short audio fade at each cut.

Letterbox handling

A source video that does not fit the canvas gets blurred pillars instead of black bars.

Queue, preview, download

See your place in the queue, play the finished video inside the app, download it or delete it.

Clean on paid plans

Exports on the Free plan carry a small CaptionFit logo. Pro and Expert exports are unbranded.

Why it matters

Export is where the project becomes a file you can post. It renders the captions exactly as styled, drops the covers in at the times you set and adds the karaoke and visualizer layers on top, so there is nothing to reassemble in another editor.

Set the look in caption styles and arrange the picture on the scene timeline first. Then export once per platform: vertical for short-form, widescreen for YouTube.

The last step for social media creators and YouTubers every week.
