How it works

Three steps. That's the whole thing.

  1. Choose a font — Fonts are grouped by script, so Latin, Georgian, Hindi and Gujarati text each get typefaces that actually render.
  2. Set size, case and color — A− and A+ change the size, Aa cycles Normal, UPPER and lower case, and a color picker sets the text color.
  3. Place and export — Drag the captions up or down on the preview, switch between 9:16 and 16:9, and export. Your last style becomes the default for your next project.
In detail

What you get

Dozens of fonts, grouped by script

Sans, serif, display and script faces, plus dedicated Georgian, Hindi and Gujarati groups. Non-Latin fonts show sample letters in the picker.

Size, case and color

Step the size up or down, switch to upper or lower case, and pick any text color. A soft drop shadow keeps text readable over any cover.

Drag to position

Grab the caption in the preview and drag it to the height you want, whether that is above a logo, under a face or dead centre.

9:16 and 16:9

Toggle the canvas between vertical and widescreen; the caption layout adapts and the export matches the preview.

Reset and remember

One click restores the default look. Otherwise the style you used last is carried into your next project automatically.

Karaoke on top

Add word-by-word highlighting in any of three styles with its own color.

Why it matters

Burned-in captions are part of the design of a video, not an afterthought, and a caption that looks wrong is worse than none. CaptionFit keeps the controls small and visible: font, size, case, color, position, aspect ratio. Everything else stays out of the way.

For lyric videos, pair a style with karaoke captions so the active word stands out. When the look is right, export the video renders the captions exactly as previewed, in 1080×1920 or 1920×1080.

FAQ

Common questions

Which fonts can I use for captions?
Dozens of fonts grouped by script: sans-serif, serif, display and script faces for Latin text, plus dedicated Georgian, Hindi and Gujarati groups. The picker shows sample letters for non-Latin fonts.
Can I change the caption color and size?
Yes. Choose any text color with the color picker, step the size up or down with A− and A+, and switch between Normal, UPPER and lower case with the Aa button.
Can I move the captions to a different part of the frame?
Yes. Drag the caption up or down in the preview to place it where you want. The export uses the same position.
Do captions look the same in the export as in the preview?
Yes. The preview is a live rendering of the same style settings the export uses, in the same 9:16 or 16:9 canvas.
Are there caption templates or presets?
No preset gallery. Instead, the style you used last is remembered and applied to your next project, and Reset takes you back to the default look at any time.
